I lead the design of an eLearning course for The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) aimed at officers handling complaints to the department.
The TMR complaints staff were unclear on what processes to follow in specific situations. I worked with TMR to establish learning objectives and a design solution for the project; a branching simulation that led participants through three diļ¬erent scenarios, using a minimal instruction approach with the formal process available as a reference.
The scenarios were scripted so that every single choice was challenging, with each option seemingly correct, but only one choice that best matched the formal process.
