Sherwood Forest!
It’s been a huge weekend creating the backdrops for our kid’s school play,聽Robin of Sherwood.
This year we’re recreating Sherwood Forest (naturally). Directing a team of Merry Parents is exhausting, to say the least. Having 20 pairs of eyes watch you as you draw it up is harrowing too! Now that it’s聽complete, there’s nothing left for me to do for the school play except attend opening night. Hurrah!

Dave: A meeting of minds (or something like that)
I met up today with Dave: Zombie Hunter creator Stewart Cook (up from Adelaide) and聽Dave聽editor聽Anthony Sherratt. We discussed… well… what happens at the pub stays at the pub.聽Both are fine, upstanding gentlemen. Take my word for it. School backdrops!
The end product of this weekend’s work – a backdrop for our local school play. My drawings, lots of volunteer mums, dads and kids on the painting, then my line work afterwards. Was given the lovely Japanese paint brush that I used for the lines as a gift. Good fun!
