Before OzComics named Saga as their challenge of the week, I hadn’t heard of it. A Google later and I knew it was something that I would enjoy, so I found myself buying comics for the first time in ages (I also bought volume 1 of Parker which is also brilliant, but that’s another story).

Saga is fantastic. It’s written by Brian K. Vaughan and illustrated by Fiona Staples. The quickest way I can describe is a genuinely charming love story set in a Star Wars style universe in a time of war.
